Band Review - Machine Gun Fellatio @ Livid 2002
Livid Festival 2002 – The Big Top
You can’t help feeling extremely happy after witnessing a Machine Gun Fellatio gig. It was the first time I’ve had the pleasure of seeing the band and believe you me it won’t be the last. Explosions of fireworks, fun costumes, catchy lyrics, crazy lighting as well as the antics of one particular crowd member climbing to the pinnacle of the Big Top made it a truly memorable moment at this years Livid.
MGF seemed to have mastered the art of spreading fun and are defiantly one of the most entertaining bands I have ever seen. There music is addictive and it’s not uncommon to find yourself singing the lyrics to one of their songs days after. It could be explained as a mixture of pop, funk and electronic, but is somewhat hard to categorize them. They are defiantly original in every sense of the word.
It’s impossible not to sing, dance, or be moved in some way by MGF's artistic expression. If you get a chance to see them live don’t miss it!!!
